Our first time to south / middle America. We were looking for a place to be active and enjoy nature, which we definitely found in Costa Rica. We chose a route which started with La Fortuna, took us the the Pacific Coast and down the coast line to Drake Bay / Corcovado before switching coasts to Puerto Viejo. We had a great time which was only slightly impacted by being vegetarian in a fish and meat focused country.
