South Africa had never been on our must-have destination list. However, friends had strongly recommended to give it a try and it was a good change from spending time in south-east Asia. In consequence we spent the whole December 2017, drove 5.000km and had a great time in ZA.
Our route: Johannesburg, Panorama Route, Kruger National Park, Drakensberg (Dalmore Farm), Graaff-Reinet (Valley of Desolation), Jeffreys Bay, Cape Town. We had great four weeks, the country surprised as many times - from the wines to the poverty, from the drought to thunderstorms, I am happy to share the detailed itinerary...
Many shots below were taken with the Panasonic FZ1000, a camera I had taken just as a test initially. The image quality and flexibility was great during such a road trip. Some of the pics are taken with the Olympus EM-5, 12-50mm and 75-300mm.
